actually i'm sorry to say but this is not the real story for this song..the write he is called sultan or his father is..any way i don't remember exactly but he had end stage cancer when he found that his wife is pregnant..& because he was afraid he will not get the chance to meet the baby or for the baby to remember him he wrote the song..it is true..check it out..of course the guy is dead now (mercy apone him)
