Alabina - Darling Let's Go
يا حبيبي يلله
Ya Habibi Yalla

This song sung by Ishtar Alabina, an Israeli born Moroccan Arab, is internationally famous. It features accompaniment NOT by the Gypsy Kings, but by another Gypsy band called Los Ninos de Sera (thanks Mali), which is why the first verse is in Spanish. She is very reminiscent of Dalida.

Alabina - Darling Let's Go

From Granada to Casablanca
I buried my imagination
A guitar and a gypsy sings
Sings about my Andalusia
When I arrive to Casablanca
You dance for me on the beach
With your black eyes my chiquita
And your enamored mouth
Enamored just like you
Enamored just like you
Enamored just like you
Like you, like you, nobody is like you

Let's go let's go
Darling let's go
Let's get happy and say "Oh my goodness!"
Let's go let's go
Darling let's go
Let's get happy and say "Oh my goodness!"

Let's keep going
Let's keep going
Let's keep going
Oh my torment, my torment, my torment
I tell him "god willing"

Your eyes are beautiful
Your lips are a song
Your eyes are beautiful
Your lips are a song
Oh my torment, my torment, my torment
I tell him "god willing"

يا حبيبي يلله - Alabina

de granada a casablanca
enterré mi fantasía
una guitarra y una gitana canta
canta mi andalucia
al llegar en casablanca
tu me baila en la playa
con tus ojos negros chiquita
y tu boca enamorada

Alabina is formed by Ishtar (Her stage name.) and Los Niños de Sara. Ishtar is Israeli born with both Egyptian (maternal) and Moroccan (paternal) ancestry. Los Niños de Sara are Spanish speaking gypsies from France. More information about the group can be found on the band's official site www.alabina.8m.com . Many of Alabina's song are mistakenly thought to be performed by the Gypsy Kings, but in reality it is Los Niños de Sara. This common mistake is due to the fact that both groups are Spanish speaking gypsies from France. Aside from her performance in Alabina, Ishtar also has a solo career.

Thank you very much for the translations and the Arabic lyrics especially. :)

when you put "Enamored just like you" enamored actually means in love. Habibi means beloved one and yalah means hurry. Mash'Allah means it's been allowed by God or by Gods will.

mashallah means as beautiful as the gods

mashallah does NOT mean as beautiful as the gods. Astafirgrullah!

yes "as beautiful as the gods" is not an acceptable translation for mashallah but the other ones here are ok

Moroccan, Jewish, Hebrew,Egyptian who cares? Stumbled on this song and can't get enough! Especially enjoy the last verses of staccato where the emphasis is placed on habibi yalla or Allah. Either way great song excellent guitar n accompaniment and her voice is just mesmerizing

Doesn't make any difference, but it does sound awkward. Native Moroccans, Native Egyptians and Jews (Hebrews) can't be Arabs. Maybe arabized, but that's all. A Native Moroccan Arab, Egyptian Arab or an Arab Jew is as possible as a Native American Turk......

I think the best translation for "masha Allah" in this song is Bravo, masha Allah doesn't have the origin meaning in this song , it's better to translate this word to Bravo instead of " it's been allowed by God "
This song is one of my favourite songs.
